Comfort is fun! It's sexy. It's colorful. And it comes in the form of pineapple shoes! Ladies and gentlemen, when I discovered these shoes in Soho recently with my future mother in law, I was so overwhelmed with joy, that I seriously did not even know where I throw myself. I tried to keep my composure as best as I could. Because let's face it... I'm a grown woman, excited about pineapple shoes. Get it together, Pao! But just in case you didn't know, I freakin' LOVE pineapples! Everything about pineapple, I love. It's a fruit! It's a gorgeous centerpiece! It goes well in green smoothies! And pineapple sorbets are delicious! I can list about 100 other reasons, but let's just stop here.
I decided to keep it fun and all the way comfy with a loose linen blouse, and cropped jeans. These shoes in my opinion MUST be seen. So it's necessary to wear them with clothing that won't hide them. And that means, cropped pants, shorts, flirty skirts, midis and all those fun things. As we already know, I like to mix colors, prints, and patterns. I thought my green and white polka-dot headwrap would be a great complement to the shoes. The Thai tote pulled all the the colors together since there was just a little big of each shade in it. But this look would be great with a white or denim bag as well.
I kept it easy on the jewelry because I really wanted to focus on the shoes for this outfit. There was already so much going on with the colors, and patterns, so I went with no earrings. This is my idea of easy people!
What do you think about the pineapple shoes? Would you pick them up? And if the answer is no, why not?
