Battery Park Jump!

July 20, 2012 by findingpaola

Battery Park, located just next to South Ferry on the southern end of Manhattan, faces the New York Harbor. It provides a great view of the Statue of Liberty, and many boats come and leave from the waterfront to transport visitors to the monument. Lauren and I finally jumped Battery Park. It was a wonderful cloudy day, and it wasn’t too hot. We jumped in front of the sphere, which was once located at the center of the plaza of […]

Morningside Park Jump!

November 19, 2011 by findingpaola

The fall season in New York City is simply amazing. The fall foliage could not be any more beautiful. I decided to continue the Jump Project mainly focusing on the beautiful fall leaves. This set is shot in Morningside Park by Alejandro Cerdena. Look out for other ones in some of my FAVORITE places in Central Park!   Jumping for life. Jumping for love. Jumping for beauty. Jumping for nothing at all.

We merrily walked to the 14th Street station and jumped on the C train. We got off Fulton, and started walking. Each of us carried multiple bags, we looked like true adventurers. After crossing multiple streets, while singing the Brazilian tune “Magalenha”, we came […]

Jump! (Meatpacking District)

May 8, 2011 by findingpaola

The Jump File Project (click on tab above for more pictures) continued last friday. We tackled the Meatpacking District and focused mainly on the Highline, one of my favorite attractions in New York City. We jumped, leaped, laughed, kicked, giggled like there’s no tomorrow. Once I start jumping, there’s no stopping me. In between jumping, you can catch me making funny noises, dancing, and making a fool of myself. My partner in crime Lauren is no different. Even with her […]
