Strawberry Fields, Bethesda Fountain Jump!

November 28, 2011 by findingpaola

It may look like we’re just jumping on a regular lawn surrounded by beautiful fall trees, but nothing could be more wrong my friend. Right behind us, you will notice a large group of people. We were jumping (quietly of course) at Strawberry Fields, a designated Quiet Zone of the park visited by people from all over the world to observe the living memorial of John Lennon. This peaceful section of the park was named after one of The Beatles’ […]

Jump File Columbus Circle (Revisited)

November 21, 2011 by findingpaola

Our fall jumps are mainly in Central Park because we wanted to capture the beautiful fall season NYC has to offer. We decided to include Columbus Circle although we’ve jumped there before because it’s so close to the park, and there are so many cool angles we can jump from! It’s definitely a location, we’ll keep going back to. As you notice, Lauren (my usual jumping partner) is not in these pictures, but Sarita was awesome to jump with! It […]

Morningside Park Jump!

November 19, 2011 by findingpaola

The fall season in New York City is simply amazing. The fall foliage could not be any more beautiful. I decided to continue the Jump Project mainly focusing on the beautiful fall leaves. This set is shot in Morningside Park by Alejandro Cerdena. Look out for other ones in some of my FAVORITE places in Central Park!   Jumping for life. Jumping for love. Jumping for beauty. Jumping for nothing at all.

Jump! (Brooklyn Bridge)

May 10, 2011 by findingpaola

After our Highline Park adventure, the gang headed south. The Jump File Project (click on tab above for more pictures) was on its way to include the Brooklyn bridge in the wonderful collage of New York City attractions. We merrily walked to the 14th Street station and jumped on the C train. We got off Fulton, and started walking. Each of us carried multiple bags, we looked like true adventurers. After crossing multiple streets, while singing the Brazilian tune “Magalenha”, we came […]

Jump! (Meatpacking District)

May 8, 2011 by findingpaola

The Jump File Project (click on tab above for more pictures) continued last friday. We tackled the Meatpacking District and focused mainly on the Highline, one of my favorite attractions in New York City. We jumped, leaped, laughed, kicked, giggled like there’s no tomorrow. Once I start jumping, there’s no stopping me. In between jumping, you can catch me making funny noises, dancing, and making a fool of myself. My partner in crime Lauren is no different. Even with her […]

Jump! Jump! Higher!

April 13, 2011 by findingpaola

It was an early morning in May, 2010. I was standing at the front desk with Lauren, trying to wipe the sleep from my eyes.  I had just come back from a two-day vacation and every part of me was still very much in South Beach. I was dreaming about walking around without pants and just running the sand through my fingers. I thought of the beautiful Espanola way and the heavenly sandwiches from “La Sandwicherie”. I felt relaxed and serene. I was thinking that […]
