One thing that gives me life is seeing older women who carry themselves with style and elegance. Whenever I see a woman over the age of 70 all dressed up, I cheer for them in my head. When I’m feeling brave enough, I approach them to tell them how beautiful they are. Is that weird?
If I get to live to that age, I’m going to be one jazzy old lady. I will have a collection of hats to be reckoned with, and I will have all sorts of fancy gloves, and beautiful rings. I’m not even a ring person now, but I will be then. And if I have to carry a cane, I will hire two strapping young lads instead to carry me around. “Is that a puddle? Oh don’t your worry, Ms. Paola, I’ll lift you up!” I will also call everyone either “darling” or “child”. Yes, that will be me: a ridiculous, old woman. The world needs more of them. And the red lipstick will stay. Although in this post, I have on dark purple. A shade to match my vibrant purple dress. My fiance told me I looked like a “distinguished” lady that day.
