I twisted my hair in four parts going back a few hours before my flight to California. At first, it was done so I can take them out for a good fro or pulled back puff. But I just kept them on as the days went by in California. I wore them even at night when I dressed up for cocktails and dinner. The weather in California is amazing. I’ve never felt sticky or gross any of the days spent there like when I’m in New York.
I wore some blouses and shorts a lot just like the first outfit below. When I travel, I also try to wear old things I’ve kept in my closet for a few years. I mix them with new things I purchase to give them a fresher look. The first two days were spent mostly at the beach and by pools, but we got to walk around a lot. I wanted to be comfortable, and my flats did not disappoint!
These two outfits were extremely affordable where each looks cost me under $100 (with the exception of the glasses). I wore the same purse in both to show the variety. I received it as a Christmas gift from my good friend Sarita. The second outfit could easy be a day outfit too. I’ve worn the dress many times during the day for a cute, chic look with flats and stud earrings.
