I packed a body-fitting, rose-print midi dress in my suitcase for my Austin trip just in case the fiancé and I went on a romantic night out. Well, I had a few options for such occasion, but this was the easiest. The dress is wrinkled free, fits like a glove, and forces me to stand just a little bit taller. I decided on a smokey eye and deep red lip for the evening. The smokey eye always gives me a different, more mature look. I was complimented by a bunch of loud, judgmental teenagers, so I’m guessing I did alright.

I love getting dressed up to go on dates with my fiancé. When he doesn’t rush me, it’s usually more fun. But he always stops in to see my progress when I get ready. And every time, he would give me a compliment or says something like, “Whoaaa! Pao!” And when I’m all done and ready to go, he totally checks me out. Every time. It’s so cute.

Jacket: Topshop; Dress: ASOS; Shoes: Vince Camuto; Purse: BCBG MaxAzria; Perfume: Chanel No 5; Lipstick: Studded Kisses by MAC

Thank you! The braids are old. It’s time to remove, but I’m thinking of putting them back shortly after!
