Night out in Haiti – Presse Cafe

If I still lived in Haiti, I would be a regular at Presse Cafe. Just like in New York some places know me as the “Sexy Nachos Girl” or the “Black Coffee Girl”, I would be the “Grilled Fish and Prestige Girl” there. I would come in with small and big groups, and some nights I would barge in all by myself and dance with my eyes closed with a smile (all by myself) to some great live music. I really can’t express how amazing the music is there, you just have to experience it yourself. I also love the laid-back atmosphere. A simple restaurant with good food and great music, which is all I ask for really. The server attending  to our table was just lovely. She approached us with a beautiful smile all night, and told me she was worried when I ordered a third Prestige. We were there for hours! I stopped by another night, and just like I described above, danced all by myself in circles with my eyes closed. When the song ended and I opened my eyes, I saw a few strange stares from other patrons. I forgot I was not in New York City, but they must understand that I do what I want.
