It’s spring! At least that’s what the weather pretended to be a few days ago. So I pulled out some of my brightest clothes and went for a stroll around Columbia. I wanted to match the spring flowers and sing with the birds. I wanted to smile at strangers and dance with the sun. I wanted my ‘fro to speak for itself and for my sunglasses to reflect the beautiful, colorful world! I even walked with a spring in my steps! Get it? Walking with a spring in my steps for spring? Ok, that was so corny.
Now, it’s back to 30 degrees, and I feel like these photographs were taken so long ago. I was just tricked by mother nature once more just a few days ago. I’m currently lying in my fluffy pink bathrobe unimpressed by the weather. Can someone call me when it’s back to 75 degrees, please!
Top: Zara; Pants: Nasty Gal; Shoes: Asos; Glasses: Vintage
Sidenote: I purchase these pants with their matching bustier top, but the top was too revealing for me to wear for that occasion. I went with a printed top because I didn’t want to play it safe with a denim or white blouse. These pants + denim shirt + statement necklace= FABULOUS!
