Finding Harlem Street Style: Rodney

The weather getting nicer, and the men are looking more dapper. I stopped this young Harlemite at Red Rooster one eventful evening. He was on his way out with a suitcase. I learned it was his birthday, and he was going to visit some friends, then catch a flight in the early morning.  I stopped him to ask if he dresses this way often. He responded, “Almost every day.” I knew I had to feature him in this series. I’m happy I ran into him again weeks later. Of course I gave him no other option, and he agreed to be featured.

It must be a talent! I think if I ran up on somebody asking to take their picture, they’d run from me, like, “CREEP!” I shall try your “psssttt” method at the Natural Hair Show this weekend. lol :)
