Cooking with Nadege: Arugula Shrimp Salad

She’s one of my favorite Haitian women in New York City. I wrote a post about her inspiring story before, and I love to support her events. Recently, I invited her over my apartment, so she can show me how to make a very easy and delicious salad! It was so much fun shooting with Nadege Fleurimond. She’s so light hearted and hilarious. I couldn’t stop laughing around her and her dear friend, Gracie. So many jokes and too much fun!

We cooked an arugula and shrimp salad with honey lime vinaigrette. The dish is incredibly easy to make, and it’s just so good. The sweetness of the honey, the crunch of the corn and shrimp really make the dish. Feel free to watch the video below for the step-by-step on how to make it.

Hi Paola! I don’t know if you read your comments, but I suffer from lupus and I’ve just been diagnosed. It’s been hard. I don’t know what it is but your blog made me want to get up this morning (even though I’m tired from fatigue and insomnia) and make my day as colorful as your life and inject more joy and beauty into my day. Thank you and keep doing what you’re doing!
