Battery Park, located just next to South Ferry on the southern end of Manhattan, faces the New York Harbor. It provides a great view of the Statue of Liberty, and many boats come and leave from the waterfront to transport visitors to the monument. Lauren and I finally jumped Battery Park. It was a wonderful cloudy day, and it wasn’t too hot.
We jumped in front of the sphere, which was once located at the center of the plaza of the World Trade Center, and the Eternal Flame that symbolizes the victims of 9/11. We also jumped in front of Castle Garden and bronze eagle. As we were jumping in the fountain, a group of girls from Paris joined us. It was so much fun.
We haven’t jumped in a long time, but the project is just getting started, so stay tuned!
