Last year one of the main things I wanted to own apart from my awesome bendable hula hoop was a pair of heart shaped sunglasses. It takes a lot to make me happy, right? I went through a phase where I browsed everywhere on the internet to find the best pair. I ended up with three, the third one came by accident.

Now that I have them, I wear them all the time. I love wearing them mostly in the summer to show my playful character. They cute with dresses, shorts and a t-shirt. They are also the BEST beach glasses. I don’t have to worry about losing or scratching them. They are cheap, fun, colorful, and me!

Last Monday, I was on a beach in Florida, prancing around in my bathing suit and heart-shaped sunglasses. Now I’m sitting in the office, sans heart-shaped sunglasses, having a good time just thinking about the little bit of sunshine I was able to soak up.

We spent our last day visiting our dear friends, Andrew and Nicole, in the sand and water. What should’ve been a low-key, relaxing day for everyone turned into a fun playful day because I wouldn’t rest until everyone was up and running around with me. We did the worst frog leaps/jumps, which were my idea. Tyler almost took off my head with one.

It’s funny I made it to the beach that early in the year, last year I didn’t make it at all. Isn’t life funny?

After a wonderful day at the beach, we all got cleaned up and went out for a fantastic meal at Dive Bar. I ate most of Tyler’s meal. It was an amazing, well seasoned, fish entree. The boys shared many bottles of Sake, and I was content with my white wine.
